  Popped in for lunch on first day of holiday. Staff friendly and welcoming. Thoughtful with kids needs such as offering extra cutlery and plate when we ordered one kids meal for two to share. Food was good pub grub, good value and served by bright and friendly staff.

  What a tremendous find - it was wet and cold and my wife and I needed warmth, beer and feeding. We arrived after the lunch session however we're greeted by the friendly landlady with a smile and positive attitude to include an offering of fantastic home made beef stew and mustard mash - nice pint of bitter and home made bread. The dogs got a biscuit too. Thanks a lot. Coming back again next year, amazing location.
